As a Campus of Australian College of Christian Studies (ACCS), Perth Bible College offers the Master of Arts award. The Master of Arts course is designed for those who hold a tertiary qualification in a theological discipline who wish to pursue a further qualification in theology as part of their continuing education for ministry.
Students will gain specialised knowledge and skills for research, professional practice and for further learning through completing the Master of Arts program. The course will enable students to acquire an integrated understanding of an advanced field and equip students with the ability to apply such knowledge and skills in a theologically-related area.
Course Duration and Structure
The course is 1-year full time and a maximum of 3 years part-time for Category 1 entrants who have completed a Graduate Diploma award in the discipline area of theology. The course structure is based on 2 semesters (Each 15-week duration), with 4 units taught in each semester. Category 2 entrants who have completed a bachelor award or equivalent in the discipline of theology are required to study a maximum of 1.5 years full time or 4.5 years part-time. The course structure is based on 3 semesters (Each 15-week duration), with 4 units taught in each semester. The course may be taken with or without a specialisation. A specialisation in the MA comprises 54 credit points in a Discipline with at least two 9000 series units.
